Why generate instead of download?

Hosted sample files come in a few fixed sizes and cost the host bandwidth, so large ones are often missing or slow. These files are built by JavaScript on your device: any size up to 512 MiB, exact to the byte, with no waiting for a server.

Which size should I test?

Test just under and just over the limit you care about — every size page has “1 byte under” and “1 byte over” buttons. Look up real limits (Gmail 25 MB, Discord 20 MB, Nginx 1 MB by default…) in the upload limits reference, or make any other size in the generator.
