5 MB dummy PDF for upload-limit testing
Generate a deterministic ~5 MiB Portable Document Format file to exercise storage tiers, multipart boundaries, antivirus queues, and “file too large” messaging — without scraping random PDFs from the web.
Why testers care about ±1 byte deltas
Product tiers often cite round limits (“5 MB”, “100 MB”, …). Bugs appear exactly at boundaries: subtle base-1024 math, gzip mis-measurements, reverse proxies injecting headers, or chunked transfer miscounting.
A repeatable client-side blob makes tickets reproducible: attach the artifact in Jira, Playwright fixtures, or analytics breadcrumbs without risking PII from real docs.
How to proceed
Use the bundled preset shortcut below (loads `/generator` with pinned MIME + sizing). Downloads happen fully in the browser.
Pair uploads with MIME sniff regression tests (`file`/libmagic/Tika on your API) — DLP gateways can treat synthetic PDF streams differently.
All generation happens locally in your browser — see Privacy Policy & FAQ.
